Hello, I'm Chewie and as you can tell by my photo I'm very excited to enter this contest. Either that or I think Dad has a treat in his pocket.
Three and a half years ago I was scared in a cage at the humane society when this nice couple came in and rescued me. Since then I've been living the good life with lots of belly rubs and warm blankets to curl up in.
Dad likes to refer to me as his brave little coward but he's always next to me making sure I'm safe. Mom calls me her snuggle bug so we spend alot of time curled up on the couch together. Don't let either of those things fool you though because when we go to the dog park I run as fast as the wind. People are always amazed that my little legs move me so quickly.
Also I'm kinda famous with my parents friends for my hilarious "Chewie Chats" and my dance moves that are sweeping the nation known as the "Chewie Strut". So vote for me now so you can say you knew Chewie before he became world famous.
But really I promise to not let it go to my head. I'd rather be with Mom and Dad under a warm blanket with a belly full of treats.
