Hamiliton was adopted in September 2020 from Mercys Door Pet Rescue in Ohio. Hamiliton's year leading up to us adopting him wasn't a good one. He had found as a stray and taken to the shelter. His owners eventually claimed him but later he had been found as a stray again only this time he had been hit by a car fracturing the left leg in multiple places. The veterinarian was able to save the leg and can't tell he almost lost it (wild man). Mercy's Door took him out of the shelter to heal and he spent many months on crate rest in 2020. Hamiliton is appropriately named due to his fun loving and goofy nature. He believes everyone is his friend and if you don't come say hi he will make "dinosaur noises" to get your attention. He loves his family and is now a proud Pittsburgh resident. His mom, Amanda, watched his progress on Instagram and she kept in touch with the director, Becca, asking about his progress and the minute he was adoptable, put an application in. Hamiliton has been a welcomed addition to our family and he loves his human brother and dad the most waiting everyday at 5 pm by the door until dad comes home. Mom is the one that makes the good food and sneaks the vegetables. Hamiliton has a collections of ties and bandannas for every season and holiday.
