Pet's Story or Bio
Scout was found roaming the streets in the south covered with bugs. He was transported to PA and when the humane society took him to the vet, they found out he had a severe case of heart worms. Two different vets said he was a lost cause and probably would never recover from it. They took him to a special cardiology vet and they were able to treat him. It took about a year of crate rest, lots of medicine, and many trips to the vet to make a full recovery. Throughout the journey and after being fostered for a while he made it to his forever home with the best dog mom who spoils him to no end! Now he’s living his best life filled with long walks, treats, and car rides!
