Pet's Story or Bio
Boo Boo (Liam) was a rescue dog that had a pretty rough past. At only approx. 8 months old, he was very malnourished with a neck wound and missing fur all over. He was thought to have been a bait dog in a dog fighting occurrence. Boo Boo was found in the woods by humane officers, alone, barely surviving his wounds. He had to have surgery to close his neck wound which has a very large scar still today. At the young age the traumatic experience happened, it had left permanent damage causing him to be extremely fearful of life itself. His normal daily actions includes pacing, hyper-vigilance, being easily startled, and being unsure of how to play with toys like a normal dog. Thankfully Boo Boo has an older brother, Yogi, which is also a rescue dog but he has a very relaxed personality. Yogi is truly Boo Boo's saving grace. A big brother who helps keep him more comfortable than we ever could. As much as we spoil the dogs, what we really want more than anything is for them to have a normal happy life.
