Miles is a happy go lucky guy from the Humane animal rescue in Pittsburgh’s north side. He had heartworms when he came to the shelter as a transfer from a shelter in Ohio. It was a slow process to help him heal but the shelter treated his heartworms at no cost to me and did an amazing job with checking up on his progress. I saw his bio online that said “he was a cuddly blanket nesting dog.” I set up an appointment at the shelter to meet with him and instantly fell in love. He doesn’t bark, dislikes sirens and car rides. He was shy at first but now he gets the zoomies after bath time or when he meets a new best friend at the dog park. He was fully cleared of heartworms in July 2021. Miles is my best friend and the best dog I could ask for. Thank you!
