Pet's Story or Bio
Meli, Greek for honey, is as sweet as her name, but we’re not always sure she’s a dog. She hops around the yard like a bunny, moos like a cow (and sometimes Chewbacca), wriggles like a noodle, and she’s as silly as a goose.
Whatever she is, her favorite place is next to or directly on mom’s lap. Her second favorite place is next to whoever will pet her continuously - dad, grandma, strangers, anyone willing to give scritches. Be warned, by initiating pets, you’ve signed a lifetime contract. Meli’s employment contract even offers scritches training and a free wet-nose reminder of your duties!
When pets are not available, Meli does a downward dog to the floor (because she won’t conform to your sit-then-lay-down standards) to return to her yak cheese or her latest victim - I mean toy.
Fun fact: dogs can have an odd number of nipples - Meli has 9! We don’t know much about Meli’s past, only that by the time she was spayed and adopted at 3 years old, they made up 9 of her most prominent features - behind her beautiful color, adorable face and half-flooped ears. Whatever she went through, they remind me every day that my job is to make sure her only worry in the world is whether mom is going to share her popcorn or roasted squash.
