Pet's Story or Bio
My beloved senior pitbull Lilo had recently died, so to cheer me up, a friend of mine would send me pictures of her adorable foster dog. This foster dog seemed absolutely perfect, but it was too soon after Lilo’s death to get another dog. Well I ended up going to visit that friend in Cincinnati as she was getting married and came back with the dog she was fostering. I named her Betty after Betty White, as I was watching a lot of “Golden Girls” to cheer me up. Betty taught me how to love another dog after Lilo’s death, helped me to appreciate the time I had with Lilo and to overcome my grief. In the two years I’ve had her, Betty and I have moved to two new places, and went from Ohio to Florida. We love going on adventures and finding new and exciting place to go for walks. Betty loves Florida, and enjoys spending time at the beach where she can meet other dogs and chase birds. Her favorite foods are yak cheese and pup cups from Starbucks, and her favorite hobby is going for long (and slow!) walks where she can smell everything. She loves her family and wants as much attention as possible. She loves it when her humans hold her paw while petting her… it’s truly like she just wants to hold hands which cracks everyone up when they meet her! She is such a character, and has so much love to give.
