I adopted Remy coming up on 2 years ago. I had been thinking about adopting again but wasn't sure. When I first me him it was an instant connection. Love at first sight and the best dog I could've ever asked for. Has his quirks but wouldn't change a thing. Shortly after adopting him we found out he had heartworms. That was a really tough thing for both of us to through but we prevailed. Coming up on his 9 month check up, and confident we got them beat.
He's been a blessing for me and getting over the loss of my mother to cancer. His unconditional love is what inspires me to give him the best life I can give.
Oh and his name was "Hemi" when I adopted him... not a Mopar guy. Lol
