Pet's Story or Bio
This handsome chap is Bennett. We call him Ben or Benny sometimes. Ben was around 1 year old when he was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas moments before he was going to be euthanized. He arrived in Colorado and was being fostered by a friend. She had posted him several times and he had a trial adoption that fell through. I had recently lost my 1st dog a few months prior and saw him posted and reached out to the friend. The friend urged me to come meet him at an adoption event so I did. He liked my face, was kind to my partner's puppy, and before I knew it, I was filling out the paperwork to adopt Bennett. Ben has proven himself to be the sweetest, most grateful, and loyal dog. He's an avid back country hiker and loves going camping. Ben is also an expert couch potato. He's a fan of all people and dogs and the occasional cat. He's an excellent road dog and is the BEST foster brother I could ask for as I continue to bring other dogs in need of a second chance into our home. Ben is a true blue dog and my best friend!
