Pet's Story or Bio
Sasha had 11 puppies and was surrendered in Texas right after giving birth. FFTF brought her and her pups to Colorado Springs naming them the Texas 12. When we were a couple weeks out from moving into the house we were building, my son and I met the remaining five puppies, hoping to adopt siblings but were told that wasn't allowed. The fosters asked if we wanted to meet the mom to get an idea on size. I said sure, and this sweet girl came up the steps, and trotted right to me and started kissing me and picked me to be her human. Meanwhile Rocky fell asleep on my son's lap. They made our decision. Next thing you know, they both had a new home together. They still snuggle and spoon with each other to this day. Sasha has learned to play and has bursts, but usually lets Rocky, who just can't get enough of play time have the toys. He loves to carry two tennis balls in his mouth while dribbling one on the floor. Living on 3 acres allows them lots of room to run and chase each other while finding plenty of sticks to carry and chew. Rocky loves being outside, He will lay in the snow and ice to chew on a stick, and in nice weather he can be found on the outdoor sofa on our deck as he watches for intruders while Sasha in never far from her human mom.
