Hi, I’m Rudy! I found my forever home when I was 7, when my mom and dad adopted me. I’ve had a number of health issues that my mom and dad have helped me through. When they adopted me, I was slightly malnourished, and I ended up with a really painful back injury after another dog attacked me. My back is much better now because of physical therapy and regular acupuncture. A few years ago, I was also diagnosed with EPI, which means I can’t digest my food without the help of specific supplements. And even though it’s been a roller coaster, my mom and dad have always made my health a priority, and I couldn’t be happier. I spend most days with my mom at her work, greeting patients and loving the attention they give me. When we’re not working, I get to go on car rides and adventures with my mom and dad all the time. I really love this fundraiser because I know it helps other dogs like me, who become displaced, to find a family that can better care for them. My mom always says I helped her heal from heartbreak, but finding my mom and dad also changed my life. It makes me happy that this project brings furrever families together, which is good for everyone!
