Flower was in a foster situation with a vet because the family that had her learned she had Pit bull in her. The vet was treating my older dog who ended up passing away within a few months of her getting Flower. She immediately thought of us as Flower's permanent parents and it was the perfect fit. Ellie was a rescue from Underdogs in CO. Megan Weber went to the Denver Shelter to pick up a couple of dogs for the rescue and saw Ellie sitting in a cage, she was only six weeks old. She couldn't leave her so Ellie hitched a ride. My son and I saw her on Facebook and contacted Underdogs immediately. We took Flower to meet her and it was a perfect fit.
