Pet's Story or Bio
Beef (formerly Crosby) was saved by My Fairy Dawg Mother Rescue in 2020 from La Junta, CO. He'd been terribly abused and neglected, chained up outdoors for 7+ years and left to starve to death when his abusers left him behind when they moved away. His teeth are worn down and broken from trying to chew through his chain over those many years. His tail no longer wags after being broken in addition to a front ankle that was never properly set. His abusers mutilated his ears which became severely infected and without vet care, resulted in him being permanently deaf. Had it not been for MFDM saving him, he would have most likely been euthanized.

Beef is now living his best life in Lakewood, CO with his best friend, sister and fellow rescue pocket pittie, Eggplant Parmesan aka: Parma, as well as his human parents. He loves short walks, traveling, car rides, going to work with his mom, making new human friends, naps in the sun, tennis balls and being loved. Despite his horrible life pre-rescue, he doesn't dwell on the past but enjoys everyday to it's fullest. He doesn't harbor any resentment or show any aggression towards people but rather loves meeting new friends, getting belly rubs and giving stinky kisses. Beef is a remarkably forgiving, funny, smart and tender creature who will spend every day of the rest of his life loved, safe and spoiled. We love you, Big Beef!
