Jake came into my life as a 3yr old shelter dog from Palm Springs CA. My husband and I visited the shelter while vacationing on a whim and fell in love with his cute face. We flew him home and touched down in Denver where his forever story continued. Jake has been with me through many phases of life including the loss of my husband - who was Jake's primary caregiver and confidant. After we both grieved Jake made it his duty to never let me feel lonely. What I used to think was him being needy now I know was him making sure I always knew I had someone, close by, and watching out for me. Whether we're going to Home Depot and he's helping me pick out blinds or we're hanging out at home drinking wine and listening to country music he's been the best boy ever. I am forever grateful to him.
We are not eligible to win a spot in the calendar due to our new home being in FL but want to help My Fairy Dawg Mother Rescue raise as much money as possible. Rescued is our favorite breed.
