Puppy’s to a stray dog I found working on the i70 expansion project saved the mom Lela vet guessed 2 years old from traffic and month later she gave birth to cosmo and Luna and yes we still have the mom. It was such a big surprise I had left in a 2 week work trip and came home to a very pregnant momma Lela so took her to the vet and was told we had about a week but the next day Lela woke me from a nap cause she was going into labor. She had a fairly easy going birth I had to help two of the puppy’s out and unfortunately two out of the four pups didn’t make it . But by the grace of god two lived due to Lela being a stray and being only rescued a month before the puppy’s births she was very malnourished and scared and the puppy’s were all under developed or under weight luckily we had put her on puppy food to give her the extra calories. And now today we have our very unexpected 4 animal family and couldn’t be happier or more chaotic
