Wendell Beasley, rescued as a tiny orange tabby kitten from a shelter, was given his name after a very kind male nurse who took care of my elderly mother when she was in the hospital. The human Wendell told me he was proud to have a namesake! I just knew this tiny little kitten had a Wendell face and fit him well. Still today, people never fail to ask me how I picked that name! My Wendell is now a 15 year old senior kitty and as spoiled as can be.
