Back in 2006, my late husband and I encountered this lovely stray cat that would show up on our deck in the evening, crying to be fed. Of course we obliged, especially after our neighbor across the road told us he’d seen a car stop, put the cat out, and drive off. We adopted her and my “I’m not really a cat person” husband fell head over heels. After his sudden and unexpected death, a coworker brought me a box containing the contents of his desk. The largest portion of the box - picture after picture of Kitty.
