Louie is a 22 year young 'man' who showed up a year and a half ago on a frigid day just before Christmas wearing only a dirty old sweater. Underneath, an emaciated cat remained. He was matted and filthy. Our vet believed he would not survive the night. A year and a half later, after much love and care, he is still with us. He teaches us everyday to never give up. Old age doesn't mean no value. He is one of the wisest and caring beings we have ever met.
