Pet's Story or Bio
Emmy is our 8-year old blind cat. She was a stray that my husband and I were lucky to have become part of our home. She is a very smart cat, navigating our home flawlessly, both vertically on her cat condo or assorted other pieces of furniture and horizontally as she walks, trots and runs from room to room. Emmy has learned to open lidded feeding dishes with her paw, find treats hidden throughout the living room, and has an uncanny knack for knowing the time of feedings for food and treats. She notifies us of the correct time within a 10-minute window. She has caught mice, but never has an interest in our pet birds. Emmy is a remarkable cat, so much so that we forget that she is blind. We love Emmy!
