Pet's Story or Bio
Hi my name is Stevie! I apologize for my appearance but, I just had my right eye removed, all but two of my teeth removed and a little plastic surgery on my left eye. Unfortunately my right eye was cancerous but, my doctor checked me all out and thinks that I will be OK. I can now see out of my left eye for the first time in many years. For 10 years I was a mostly blind feral cat and lived in a neighborhood where several families would put food out for the neighborhood cat colony. Then I found the Cahn family! They had heated houses on their porch for us so, I moved in. Recently I felt safe enough to make friends with the Cahn family and I talked to them and let them pet me. I could tell they really loved me. They could see my eyes were in bad shape so they scooped me up and took me to their vet. There I met Dr Mary who took such great care of me. I look forward to going home to the Cahn family in a few days where I will have to learn to be an indoor cat.
Saving one cat will not change the world but, for that one cat the world will change forever.
