Your Pet's Story or Bio
Tuffy was my first blind foster dog. Tuffy was a Pomeranian, 11-years-old when he came into rescue. He had diabetes and other health issues, including a heart murmur, bladder stones, and small growths that needed to be monitored. An ultrasound also showed that he had several enlarged organs. Because of his health issues, his diabetes was difficult to regulate, and we had many, many ups and downs. But we did it together! Always together! Because of course, I adopted him. What a sweet and gentle fellow he was. Tuffy never complained, instead choosing to live life as best he could. He loved to walk in the yard, smelling all the different smells, he loved to cuddle, and he loved belly rubs. Sadly, he was diagnosed with a soft tissue tumor, and we said goodbye to our sweet Tuffy in September, 2012. My memories of Tuffy now make me smile through the tears, and even now, almost four years later, I sometimes think I hear him bark. Tuffy is forever loved and forever missed.
