Your Pet's Story or Bio
I met Drew aka "Andre Barkelli" at the Arizona Cattle Dog Rescue where he crawled into my heart and came home with me when he was just over 6 months old. A farmer found him as a tiny starved pup wandering his fields outside of Gallup, NM. He's been with me for 3 years now and is an amazing inspiration to everyone. He's always smiling and makes everyone's day when he goes on therapy visits with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. He loves long walks, swimming, and big hugs from neighborhood children. He's very well traveled and now lives on the Jersey Shore and will soon have a little brother from PRO (pointerrescue.org). Drew was born with Microphthalmia and dumped because he is completely blind, but he doesn't let the lack of retinas stop him! His smile brightens every day and we know that he sees with his heart!
