Fred came from a rural shelter in Georgia where he had been picked up as a stray. This handsome dog is a pure breed Australian Shepherd with a full, fluffy tail probably wondered away from one of many cattle ranches in the area. No one claimed him so I adopted him. Fred was born with one eye smaller than the other. As he got older, he developed degenerative iris atrophy in his normal sized eye. He is now almost totally blind, Fred is a big, cuddle bug of a dog who never met a stranger. He is now almost 14 and going strong.
