Rules

The contest opens at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 1, 2025. The contest closes at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Only votes submitted within these dates will be considered.
Each photograph must include only dogs. The contest is open to all dogs, not only BRBR rescued dogs. Humans are not allowed in the photos, please.
Digital photographs must be of good quality to produce calendar-quality printed photographs. Most photos taken on a phone meet the requirements.
BRBR has final approval on all photos submitted.
Photos with red eyes or glowing eyes will not be accepted.
Photos with dogs wearing choke, prong, or shock collars will not be accepted.
Submitted photographs become the property of BRBR. BRBR reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary. You also confirm that you own the rights to the photo you are submitting.
Photographs may be color, black and white, or sepia toned. No other digital effects will be accepted.
All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos.
Photo submission must include:
- Name of Dog
- City and State
- A paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the dog in the photo. Is this a BRBR dog or rescued from another organization? If so, when was it adopted? Share something special that we could share if your photo wins.
There is a $20 donation required to submit a photo, which includes 20 votes.
Each vote requires a $1 donation.
In the case of a tie for a calendar spot, the entrant that reached their final vote total first will receive the prize.
