We rescued Sunny in early February of 2023. He came to us through Save Them All Rescue. The previous owner was turned in for physically abusing him. When law enforcement went to remove him from the home he was in the basement in a wire kennel too small for him. No pad in the kennel. He was laying in his own feces and urine. He weighed about 35lbs and had scars on his hips from the wire kennel. They estimated his age at 10-11. Turns out he was only about 4.5. He is now 72lbs and is fiercely loyal to us. He loves running around in the woods and playing with his sister! This photo is from our wedding day. He walked down the aisle in his tux to stand with us. He’s our handsome boy!
