She’s a dog, technically—but in spirit she’s a small old lady who prefers not to leave the house. Most of her day is spent draped across the back of the couch where she keeps a careful watch out the window.

Social situations? Complicated. New people? Questionable. Loud noises? Suspicious. Busy places? Absolutely not, thank you. She has a long list of small, mysterious anxieties that make the outside world a weird place she prefer not be.

There is one exception: car rides. The moment she realizes she is going for a ride, all hesitation disappears because a car ride means being with mom and dad. They are her favorite people and she is happiest being close to them.
