On New Years Day 2021, we tragically lost Barney to cancer. I didn’t think my heart would survive. But just a few weeks later, a senior needing a home landed on our doorstep. My Higgins, the Heart Healer. Eleven years young, he is my lovable curmudgeon. All because of BellyRubs! Please help us raise money for this amazing rescue by voting for Higgins as King of the 2022 BellyRubs Waltz. It was a challenge to find a photo with dry ears…free of mud. And I can’t promise that he won’t show up for a coronation with water-logged ears. But, ya know… Oh, Higgins. My heart smiles.
