Our Chelsea died August 17, 2012. Her mate of ten years Schubert Our Chelsea died August 17, 2012. Her mate of ten years Schubert (BREW name JoJo) and her humans are still missing her every day. Douglas, whose all time favorite dog she was thinks of her every day and so am I. Schubert took it all so badly that he had to be put on tranquilizers (he has a grade 6 heart mumer and has been diagnosed with Cushings disease.)

We were so pleased that after her surgery on her leg, she enjoyed 9 month of a "new life" racing around the garden like a puppy chasing anything that dared to enter HER domain.

Then without warning she had trouble breathing and within 17 days she left our life quietly one morning while laying on "her couch." She was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor of the heart. When she quietly died It was as if she wanted to spare Douglas the ultimate decision. She was the best dog patient I have ever cared for and made up for all her misbehavior during her final illness - not that she needed too.......She now rests with all the others in our garden with Forget-Me-Nots and daffodils planted on her grave.
