This is one of our favorite photos of Penny's first snow in the winter of 2008, just a few weeks after we adopted her through BREW Beagles. She's been with our family for 12 years and we love her to bits.

Penny has had a tough year (we removed a tumor... and, unrelated, also all of her teeth!) but she's still spry, food-motivated (beagles, amirite?), and a great dog companion for our family and especially our 3.5 year old daughter.
