In the year of our beloved Lexi, 2021, many of you are now aware that she peacefully left us earlier this year at (almost) 20 years old! This is literally the very last picture of her alive on this earth, taken just about 9 hours before she ultimately passed. She just finished a delicious Chick-fil-A sandwich (no kidding) and gave me her infamous look that prompted this picture. I actually had no clue this would be her last picture as she was doing pretty well, all things considering, but we’re ultimately grateful she got to go on her terms. It was those eyes that made her a Maneater! I don’t mean to GLOAT about her but that’s what happens when you have the Greatest Lexi Of All Time. :)

While still heartbroken without my girl, we have been blessed many times over—not just by her presence in our lives but by the outpouring of love and warmth from the BREW community. We’ve been truly touched by that love and hope we can pay it forward ourselves.

We wish all you baying-beagle-loving parents and pups the absolute best. Please share an extra treat and belly scratch in Lexi’s memory!
