Oscar was a stray at the Buffalo County Humane Society in Wisconsin in summer 2021. He was about 5 years old and completely blind. When he became available for adoption, they contacted us. We adopted Oscar, our special needs Beagle. He joined an obedience class that was already in progress and went on to earn his AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate. Not bad for a blind, rescue Beagle. We plan to start taking him to nursing homes to demonstrate he is not Disabled, he is just alternately abled.
