Elias is a 22 pound ball of joy we adopted in August from BREW after losing our 17 year old beagle in July. As his foster mom shared, he was a tiny little thing desperate for love when he came into her life. I can only say he is full of love—very demonstrative, eager to please and quite silly. He is always inquisitive, seeking to understand new things, noises and surroundings. Watching him puzzle through new experiences is just fascinating. Like any beagle he is very vocal and a nose with four legs! There is nothing more magical than watching him catch a scent, tail totally erect, head and nose in motion and then the investigation process begins. We have no idea what the first two years of his life were like. He was a stray that BREW rescued with the intention of giving him a new start. We are getting such joy watching him blossom into a very happy, trusting pup. The photo submitted is one of him learning to sail and boy is he a quick study! In summation, we are so happy to help Elias in his new life in a home where there is much love to give, a warm bed to sleep in and always a basket of toys for him to play with.
