Lady was the runt of the litter, nobody wanted her, she was timid and afraid of loud noises, so no hunting for her. I brought her home at 5 months of age, she was the smartest little dog I've ever seen in my life. She developed severe heart condition at around 11 years of age, took her meds like a little trooper. At age 16, I could see things were changing, I got her an elaborate 16th birthday cake, thinking it would be her last, she fooled us, she stuck around for her 17th, but unfortunately last June, she chose to go see her brothers and sister across the Rainbow Bridge. I miss my baby so much still, but I do also still feel her presence how and then.
