My name is April, but my mama and papa call me April Mae when they’re trying to get my attention so I’ll listen to them. I am very grateful to have been Miss April 2023 and will do my best to earn a month in 2024. I'm also very grateful to BREW for helping me find my Forever Home.

I love going on walks and pulling mama and papa an inch further away than my leash allows. I also love watching people walk around the neighborhood and listening to their private conversations. I spend most days working with my mama in her home office and she’s told me my snoring helps her relax during her meetings. I’m not sure what being “Head of Household” means, but apparently it means I can have toys and beds in every single room, as well as lots of treats. My favorite room is our downstairs movie room, where I lay down and listen to loud jazz music so I don’t hear scary rain, thunder, and fireworks. Every day I’m thankful that I rescued my mama and papa. I don’t know how they’d manage without me.
