We had the privilege of loving our Charlie boy for 15 years. Charlie is a BREW beagle adopted in 2003. He was part of the “candy bar” beagles that year. Charlie was an only child for many years, and never quite forgave us when his human siblings and later a beagle sister came along. He loved them, but was always the boss of the house. Like all beagles, he loved his food and would bark at you the entire you were making his food. He loved walks, though never quite had the beagle nose. There were times we would watch an animal walk on by, and Charlie would be sniffing in the other direction. He loved to sleep under the covers next to us and always made us laugh when he would growl at us if we moved our feet. Most of all, Charlie loved us as much as we loved him. This picture was taken when he was around 5 years old. As of July 2018, he is waiting for us at the rainbow bridge for that joyous reunion.
