Pepper is a 5-6 year old female beagle who came to live with us in March 2017 after first birthing and caring for eight puppies in her foster home. Once the puppies were weaned, Pepper had to undergo treatment for heart worms. Despite a rough start in life, she is a sweet girl, though still shy around people she doesn't know. She loves to nap with her family whenever possible. But when outside, Pepper is go, go, go. She runs around the dog park like she is a puppy, and loves other dogs. After thinking about getting a dog for many years, we won the rescue lottery when Pepper joined out family.
