Ruby is an old lady beagle rescued from West Virginia. Her human fostered her, watched her get adopted, and returned a week later. Her then foster now adopter knew Ruby was special so she did not let her go a second time. Ruby is a sweet, gentle, quiet old girl who loves dogs, adults, kids, and food. She has a belly that goes on for days. Her sidekick Dee Dee is also a rescue and people think that they are sisters. Dee Dee is a half-beagle. People love Ruby's stroller that helps her get out and about.

Ruby has lots of nicknames including Her Ladyship, The Lady Boo, Boodles, Rubalicious, Rubyalala, Rubicon, and Rubes.
