My boy Jett was diagnosed with Blastomycosis on July 10th. I had no idea what that was or what the diagnosis meant, but I found out quickly. There is no vaccine to prevent this fungal disease & it can & does kill dogs if it is not diagnosed properly & treated quickly. It is a very long recovery if a dog does contract this disease...at least 6 months, quite often longer. I would like to bring awareness to this rare, yet common disease. Brittany's being of an inquisitive nature are more susceptible to it since their noses seem to lead their way wherever they go, and sometimes that can be trouble. Jett has had a rough time of it the past couple months, but he is a warrior & doesn't know the word quit. As his Mom, I would love to see him showcased. He is a very special boy.
