My Story
My name is Phil Stanton and I am writing about my dog Sadie who died recently. She was almost 16 years old and had a wonderful life with me. My heart is broken. I understand that she is not eligible for the calendar contest as she was not a Bassett but I have had Larry, a BROOD rescue in the past.
I want to make clear that Sadie was a rescue dog as well. She was the most gentle, caring, and loving dog I've ever had in my life and I've had a few. I enclose her picture anyway because I want others to see her grace and love. I don't know what I'm gonna do without her.
