My Story
Oh! Hello! My apologies, but I'm still overjoyed by all of the soft places to sleep and I'm a Golden Girl, so I take full advantage of napping opportunities. Just a couple of months ago, I was wandering around Virginia, lost and scared and uncomfortable because I had a huge tumor. Thankfully, one of the nice people at animal control reached out to BROOD to ask if they might have a place where I could live out whatever time I had left, but guess what? I have lots of time left! The doctor said I have an "excellent prognosis" and I've healed really well. Once I started to feel better, my foster mom started taking me for little adventures in something called a stroller and I met my new best friend, another houndie mix! Now we walk together every day. I also got to meet a really big houndie and apparently now we're cousins. My family keeps saying "foster failure" and I think that means I get to stay here forever! I'm so grateful for BROOD and for PB & pumpkin cookies and walkies and friends! My tail doesn't stop wagging now (even in my sleep)!
