My Story
Shiloh Mater & Jasmine Belle...
On 7/3/24, when Shorty, the last of my Basset trio, including Jake & DixieBelle (BROOD dogs) made their way to the rainbow bridge :-( I said never again, I could never go through that much pain again. Forward to Nov 2024... And without explanation I see Basset puppies available. They were born 9/16/24. I just wanted to hug and hold a basset again. So I made arrangements to meet the family, and puppies. Wow, are some things just meant to be. A most wonderful family I am blessed to now call friends. And I could choose from four in the litter, 2 males, 2 females (of 7, and I got to meet all puppies) And I met the litters super sweet and personable sire & dam, Bonnie & Clyde. They had named the litter with The Cars movie theme. It was hard to choose, but I chose "Mater" & "Bessie"
So I'm proof you can find room in your heart after losing your beloved Basset. We just need to open our hearts.
Shiloh, named using "Sh..." in memory of Shorty
Jasmine, named using "Ja" for Jake, and "Belle" for DixieBelle.
