My Story
We adopted Rosie (previously Libby) from BROOD after saying "NO MORE DOGS!" We lost our previous Basset suddenly at age 6 and it was too painful, but after too many months of a quiet house, we found Rosie at BROOD. I looked up her breeder (who was upset with the original owner for not returning her when she couldn't handle such an active pup), and she later rehomed a retired mama dog with us named Maryland, They now also have a cat sister that I found as a stray in 17 degree weather.
