My Story
Ripley is the heart of the household and proudly holds the title of “Mayor” of her neighborhood—largely due to her friendly demeanor, slow-and-steady strolls, and her expectation that every passerby stops to say hello (and offer a few well-earned pets).

Now almost six years old, Ripley has been with the family since she was a puppy. She was carefully chosen by her now-teenage human at age 11—despite his initial anxiety around dogs.

Ripley enjoys the finer things in life: long walks to check in on her neighborhood constituents, endless affection, and—most importantly—home-cooked meals. She has a very refined palate and has made it abundantly clear that standard dog food is beneath her standards. If it’s not what the family is eating, she’ll politely decline.

While she has many canine acquaintances, Ripley’s closest bond is with her adopted brother, Buddy the Jack Chi. Together, they run a tight operation at home, ensuring all visitors are properly greeted and all snacks are thoroughly supervised.

Equal parts loyal companion, social butterfly, and comfort provider, Ripley takes her role seriously—especially when it comes to keeping her people close, calm, and well-loved.
