Rules

Submitting a photo to be included in San Diego House Rabbit Society’s Bunnyfest 2022 Photo Contest is free. You may submit as many photographs as you like, in as many of the four categories as you like.

To submit photos online, click on the Participate tab above to Enter Contest and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet. Online entries must be received by September 18, 2022 02:00:00 P.M. PDT.

All photos become the property of San Diego House Rabbit Society.

Acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, .png, and .tif

Photos may contain one or more rabbits

Photos must:

• be in color or black and white
• depict a specific category as defined below
• be stills, not live pictures or video clips 

Photographs of people or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene; for example, rabbits fully or partially clothed (hats, scarves and harnesses are okay), in water or depicted in a stressful situation as determined by the staff of San Diego House Rabbit Society will be removed immediately without warning.

Photographs may not be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast, or sharpness adjustments).

Photographs must either feature rabbits owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the rabbit’s owner to submit their rabbit’s image.

You may submit photos for the following four categories:

 

1. Bunny Butt
   No matter the size, shape or breed, all bunnies have adorable butts! Submit a picture of your bun’s cute bum for all the world to see.
2. Weirdo Bun
   Ever see your bunny all scrunched up in an awkward or strange manner, using the side of her litterbox as a pillow, blissfully sleeping away? Or lazing around with half of his body practically falling off the couch? Show us pictures of your weirdo bun!
   
   
3. Fuzzy Chaos
   Does your bunny’s area look like a tornado hit 5 minutes after cleaning? Bunnies love to make messes, submit a photo of your bun in the midst of chaotic glory!
   
   
4. Favorite Photo
   Everyone has a special picture of their bunny. Now is your chance to share it with everyone to enjoy, too

Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery on the San Diego House Rabbit Society Bunnyfest 2022 website, and the photo will be open to voting by the general public. Votes are $1 each, with no minimum.

All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.

To vote online, from the menu, click on PARTICPATE – VIEW ENTRIES/VOTE. The online voting period will end September 18, 2022 02:00:00 P.M. PDT.

Voting online will end as shown prominently on the Bunnyfest 2022 Photo Contest website as a countdown clock on the last day of the fundraiser.

The photograph with the most votes in a given category will win the prize as detailed in the Prizes section. The final vote tally will be indicated at the end of the online voting fundraiser.

All votes are donations to San Diego House Rabbit Society and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. All donors upon request will receive receipts for their contributions.

You are not required to live in the United States to vote; however, you must live in the United States to win (i.e., photo submissions from U.S. residents only). Winners will be announced on September 18, 2022 during Bunnyfest and on the San Diego House Rabbit Society’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SDHRS

Winners will be notified via e-mail or regular mail and prizes will be mailed to each winner. Note: prizes can only be mailed to addresses in the United States.

In the event of a tie, the name of each person with the highest votes will be placed in a “tie-breaker” box and a single name will be randomly selected. This random section of the top winner will take place on September 18, 2022.

1^st Place - $50 gift card for Amazon.
There will be a total of four 1^st Place prizes given, one for each category.


Grand Prize – $50 gift card for Amazon, plus a Cottontail Cottage.
The Grand Prize winner will receive a 1st Place prize in a given category, plus an additional $50 gift card for Amazon and a Cottontail Cottage. The Grand Prize winner has the highest votes on a single photo submitted, regardless of the category.
