Our Mission is to rescue abandoned domestic rabbits within our community and find them new homes, support our local shelters in the care of their rabbits, and educate the community on the proper and responsible care of domestic rabbit companions.
San Diego House Rabbit Society (SDHRS) is not a department of the federal, state, county or city government, nor is it a branch of, or affiliated with any other charitable organization. SDHRS is not affiliated with House Rabbit Society, nor do we receive any funding from House Rabbit Society. SDHRS has been at work in San Diego and southwest Riverside counties, Orange County and Los Angeles County for 33 years.
