The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which protects and restores native wildlife for the benefit of its unique animals, environment, and people. Our goal is to inspire and educate the community in leading local conservation and wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and release efforts.
The Sanctuary's wildlife hospital provides free medical and rehabilitative care to more than 5,000 injured wild animals each year. The goal of our wildlife rescue program is returning recovered animals to their natural habitats.
The Sanctuary is open to the public, for only a donation, with programs to educate visitors about nature, wildlife, and environment issues. Former patients of our wildlife hospital, that are unable to return to the wild, find refuge in our Sanctuary. These animals offer visitors an opportunity to learn from nature up-close, while creating a memorable message of respect for all living creatures and their habitats.
