This little guy was transferred from another shelter before landing at BHS—and into my life. Since then, he’s never left my side. He goes to work with me every day and follows me everywhere. No matter where I am, he’s never far behind.

He loves being held and cradled like a baby, enjoys sunbathing in the yard, and helps me garden the front yard by digging holes right next to me as I plant. His favorite toy is a torn up unicorn, and he is starting to have more clothes than I do.

My life gained purpose the day I found him. And truly, as the saying goes—who rescued who?
