Bootsy had a long journey before finding her home. She was taken in as a trap-neuter-release stray to an overcrowded shelter in the south during the 2021 winter storms, and was moved all the way up north to Brandywine SPCA. That's already a lot for a senior cat to go through, but even there she was often passed over in favor of younger pets. Eventually her constant kneading and headbutts proved too cute to resist, and Bootsy now spends her golden years enjoying the safety of a loving home, cuddling with her favorite fish toy or giving high-fives for treats.
