Entrants:
Entries are limited to Dogs—and may be exhibitor dogs, rescue dogs, family pets or combination of any of the aforementioned. No age limits. No humans allowed in photos, except for the Master/Dog Look-Alike Category. Commercially reproduced photographs are acceptable
with proper releases. If your professional photographer would like to donate to our fundraiser, we will acknowledge them on the fundraiser sponsor page.
Entry Fees & Voting:
Each entry is $15 per photo per each category entered. The same dog may be entered (and win) in multiple categories. Individuals may enter more than one dog. Submissions will be accepted on-line only from September 1st, 2020 to October 5, 2020 9 pm.
Entrants and the general public can "Donate-to-Vote" for their favorites by buying votes in $5 bundles. These bundled votes may be divided among their favorite entrants or all used for one particular entrant. Voting will occur from September1 through October 5, 2020 until 9 pm (Pacific Standard Time).
After you submit your entry, you have the opportunity to ask your friends and family members to "donate-to-vote" by sending them the URL for your entry or using the "Tell-A-Friend" form when you log in to your account on the Contest website. Keep in mind, once votes are cast those votes are final and may not be refunded, combined, or moved from one entry to another.
Do donors have to use votes all at once? Purchasers of "Vote-to-Donate" votes do not have to use all votes at the time of purchase. Upon purchase, donors will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one image or storing the votes in an account. If voters choose to store votes, those votes can be accessed with a User ID and password at any time during the contest voting period.

Judging:
Dogs in each of the 8 categories with the most votes will be determined the winner in that category and will have their photos printed in our local Blackhawk Living Magazine. In addition, each category winner will receive a Doggie Gift Basket.
Winners only will be notified by electronic or postal mail no later than October 10, 2020.
Additionally, the contest website will indicate the winners in each category.
Prizes:
- Top vote getters in each category will have their photos printed in Blackhawk Living Magazine and receive a Doggie Gift Basket.
- Each doggie entered is entitled to a dog biscuit.
