Allie was adopted from Capital Area Humane Society as a puppy 10 years ago, having been rescued from a kill shelter in the South along with her litter mates. Her litter mates were all adopted within days, but she had kennel cough, and was kept back away from the rest of the pack. We fell in love with her immediately and she has been the
